Bank of Baroda · Automatic Tracking

Track Bank of Baroda expenses automatically

BoB transaction alerts, bob World notifications, and debit confirmations — captured from bank emails and sorted into clear spending categories.

Bank of Baroda customers increasingly live in the bob World app for UPI, deposits, and everyday banking — while still receiving a parallel stream of BoB transaction alert emails. Those alerts are complete enough to rebuild a month of spending, yet most people only open them when a debit looks unfamiliar.

Glass Money reads Bank of Baroda alert emails from your inbox with read-only access, extracts the transactions, and categorizes them automatically. You continue paying through bob World; month-end review stops requiring a scroll through the app’s payment history.

Why bob World history is not an expense tracker

bob World shows recent activity well, but it is not designed for category budgets, household roll-ups, or comparing this month’s food spend to last month’s. Exporting statements and cleaning them in Excel is the usual workaround — and it dies within weeks.

When BoB sends debit and transfer alerts by email, Glass Money uses mail from the bank’s official domains so bob World convenience does not come at the cost of financial blindness.

Which Bank of Baroda alerts Glass Money tracks

Glass Money connects to your inbox with read-only access and looks for transaction alerts from official Bank of Baroda email domains — not your personal mail. Typical sources include:

  • Bank of Baroda savings and current account alert emails
  • bob World and mobile-banking UPI payment confirmations
  • Bank of Baroda debit card transaction notifications
  • Fund-transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS) confirmation emails from BoB

Extracted BoB transactions feed one categorized dashboard — especially helpful when bob World is your daily driver but not your budgeting tool.

Tips for BoB and bob World email alerts

In bob World or BoB Internet Banking, verify that transaction alerts are emailed to the inbox you will connect. App push alone will not build a Glass Money history.

  • Enable email alerts for debits and UPI on each BoB account you use for spending.
  • If you migrated from an older BoB email ID, update the registered alert address so new bob World payments do not silently go elsewhere.
  • Keep BoB promotional mail filtered; transaction alerts are easier to spot-check when they share a dedicated Gmail label.
  • Households that split BoB and SBI or PNB should land all bank alerts in one inbox for a single Glass Money view.

How Glass Money stays safe with your Bank of Baroda mail

Glass Money uses Google's read-only inbox access (Gmail OAuth today). It cannot send, delete, or modify your mail, and it focuses on known Indian bank and card-issuer alert senders — not your personal conversations. It cannot move money, and you can revoke access from your Google account at any time. Full detail is on our privacy policy.

Most households use more than one bank. When alerts from Bank of Baroda and your other institutions share the same inbox, they are extracted into one spending view with UPI spends and categorised monthly trends, so the full picture lives in one place.

Bank of Baroda expense tracking — FAQ

Does Glass Money connect to bob World directly?

No. There is no bob World password sharing. Glass Money reads Bank of Baroda transaction-alert emails in your inbox using Google’s read-only scope.

Can I track BoB UPI payments made from GPay?

Yes, when the UPI debit triggers a BoB alert email to the connected inbox. The bank-side alert is what Glass Money extracts, independent of which UPI app initiated the payment.

What happens if I disconnect alert mail later?

You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting removes mailbox access; see the privacy policy for how already-imported transactions are handled.

Built for Indian households, available in beta

Glass Money is available through limited beta access: automatic Bank of Baroda expense tracking from alert emails, categories you can edit, monthly and per-bank trends, manual entries, and an AI chat over your own transactions. Statement upload is not available in the current public beta. Compare imported activity with your bank records before relying on a monthly total. Android is on Google Play; iOS remains invite-only while Google restricted-scope verification is in progress.

Not built yet, and we would rather say so: live Account Aggregator bank connections, investment or net-worth tracking, and a family or household view. The roadmap on the homepage keeps the full list in the open.
