What Glass Money is
Glass Money is an India-focused personal finance app that turns transaction-alert emails from banks, UPI activity, and card issuers into a private spending view. The product is operated by the Glass Money team and is currently in limited beta while Google restricted scope verification remains in progress.
What ships in limited beta
- Read-only alert-mail import for supported bank and card sender domains.
- Automatic transaction extraction, editable categories, monthly trends, and per-bank views.
- Manual entries when an alert never arrived or a period needs a gap filled.
- Android on Google Play for public download (newest builds may still be rolling out in Google review). iOS remains invite-only. AI chat and wealth views stay private beta for invited accounts — not generally available.
Direction — not shipped
Account Aggregator connections, any-email inbox support, a shared family workspace, and broader wealth planning remain on the roadmap. Statement PDF upload is not a public-beta product feature; where statements appear in reconciliation workflows, they are downloaded and matched against alert emails rather than offered as a user upload path.
What we will not claim
We will not claim that every bank emails every transaction, that every alert format is already supported, or that Glass Money replaces a bank statement for taxes, disputes, or financial decisions. Alert coverage depends on your bank settings, official sender domains, and the exact format your bank sends. Glass Money cannot see account balances today.
