Why a transaction or card might be missing
Honest help for missing activity, what coverage means for alert-email tracking, how to re-sync or reconnect Gmail, and how to ask Support when an issuer format is not covered yet.
Glass Money builds your spending view from the transaction alert emails Indian banks and card issuers already send — not from SMS, net-banking logins, or a live bank balance. When something is missing, the cause is usually upstream of the app: no alert email, the wrong mailbox, an unrecognised format, or a sync that has not caught up. This page is the durable honesty surface Marketing and Support can cite — not a promise that every card or spend is covered.

What coverage means
Supported means Glass Money knows the issuer sender domains, can fetch likely alert mail with read-only inbox access, and has extraction paths for turning those alerts into transaction rows. It does not mean every account at that bank emails every transaction by default. Personal coverage depends on your alert settings, which mailbox you connected, and which formats Glass Money recognises today.
That boundary matches the honesty on supported banks. Glass Money does not claim named-card recognition for every co-branded or fintech card product.
Coverage help questions
Why might a transaction be missing from Glass Money?
Glass Money only creates activity from supported bank and card alert emails in the inbox you connected. A spend can be missing when the issuer never emailed an alert, email alerts are turned off in the bank or card app, the alert landed in a different mailbox, a Gmail filter archived or skipped it, the sender or template is not recognised yet, or sync has not caught up. Search your inbox for the amount first. If no alert exists, enable email alerts or add the activity manually after checking your own bank records. Statement PDF upload is not a public-beta product feature.
Why might a card or bank account seem missing?
An account only appears when Glass Money has supported alert evidence from that issuer in the connected inbox, or when you add activity manually. Cards or banks that are SMS-only, send alerts to another email, use an unsupported format, or have never produced a recognised alert in this mailbox will look missing even if the issuer is listed on supported banks. Supported means Glass Money knows how to look for that issuer’s alert mail — not that every product, card, or transaction type at that bank emails by default.
What does coverage mean for an alert-email expense tracker?
Coverage is how much of your real spending Glass Money can show from the alert emails your issuers already send. Bank support and personal coverage are different: an issuer can be supported in the matrix while your view is still incomplete for a specific card, joint account, or period. Supported does not mean every transaction emails by default. Compare imported activity with your own bank records, and treat Glass Money as a spending view — not the sole record for taxes or disputes.
Which banks and cards does Glass Money support today?
Glass Money reads transaction alert emails from major Indian bank and card issuer sender domains. Some issuers use curated alert addresses; others use official-domain sweeps filtered so promo and security mail do not become transactions. See the coverage matrix on supported banks for current notes. Glass Money does not claim named-card recognition for every co-branded or fintech card product, and it does not connect to bank accounts — it only reads the alerts those issuers send you.
How do I re-sync Glass Money or reconnect Gmail?
Open Glass Money while signed in and use Sync now from Account (or the sync attention prompt when the app asks you to catch up). If Google access expired or the mailbox needs reconnect, open Account, reconnect Gmail with the same Google account that receives your bank alerts, and approve read-only access again. Confirm you connected the mailbox where alerts actually arrive. You can disconnect Gmail anytime from Account; disconnecting stops sync immediately. You can also revoke access from your Google account.
How do I request coverage for a bank, card, or alert format?
Email support@glassmoney.app from the Google account you use with Glass Money. Include the issuer name, the alert sender address if you have it, and a redacted example (hide account numbers and full card digits). An in-app request-coverage path is upcoming and is not available in the product today. Until then, Support is the honest channel for new formats and issuer gaps.
Re-sync and reconnect checklist
- Search the connected inbox for the missing amount or merchant. If the alert is not there, enable email alerts in the bank or card app before blaming sync.
- Confirm Glass Money is connected to the mailbox that actually receives those alerts — not a secondary Google account.
- Open Account and use Sync now (or follow the in-app sync attention prompt when Glass Money asks you to catch up).
- If access expired, reconnect Gmail from Account with read-only consent, then sync again.
- If the alert exists but was never imported, send Support a redacted example so the format can be reviewed.
Request coverage
There is no signed-in in-app “request coverage” flow yet — that path is upcoming. Email support@glassmoney.app with the issuer name, sender address if known, and a redacted alert sample. Until the in-app request path ships, Support is the honest channel for new issuers and formats.
